Indulgent, comforting and simply delicious, this pudding brings together buttery, flaky croissant pastry with a creme anglaise sauce, baked together with dried fruit, a hint of candied orange and vanilla syrup. Topped with a swirl of milk chocolate.  It's a cracker of a Christmas dessert but definitely eaten all year round by the Bistro Chef team!

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream. 


Croissant: (WHEAT, GLUTEN, MILK,), Butter (MILK), eggs (EGG), sultanas (SULPHITES), chocolate; cocoa, (MILK), sugar. Orange peel, vanilla syrup, salt

Defrost thoroughly for 24 hours in the fridge.

Oven or microwave

Oven: Fan 170C / 190C / Gas 5

Preheat oven, remove sleeve and pierce film

Place on a baking tray in the centre of the oven

Cook for 5 - 10 minutes until piping hot

Microwave (850W)

Remove sleeve and peel film on 2 corners

Cook for 1 minute or until piping hot
