Our Chicken Chasseur, honoured with a Great Taste Gold Star from the Guild of Fine Food, offers a sophisticated and delicious restaurant style dish, yet imbued with the flavours of this traditional French country classic. 

This classic dish features a succulent UK Red Tractor chicken breast, complemented by oyster mushrooms, tarragon, bacon, baby onions, and new potatoes, all enveloped in a luscious creamy white wine sauce. The name “chasseur,” meaning “hunter,” reflects its origins as a traditional autumnal pairing of game birds and forest mushrooms.

This is delicious paired with our Petit Pois Francaises side dish which comprises peas sauteed with pancetta, braised lettuce, leek and white wine.

Oven: Fan 170C / Electric 190C / Gas Mark 5

  1. Pre-heat oven
  2. Remove sleeve and pierce film
  3. Place on a baking tray in the centre of the oven
  4. Cook for 40–45 minutes (from frozen) / 25–30 minutes (from chilled)

Microwave: 850W

  1. Remove sleeve and pierce film
  2. Place on a microwavable plate
  3. Cook 7 minutes, stirring halfway through (from frozen) / 3 minutes 30 seconds, stirring halfway through (from chilled)
