Our French chefs slow-cook each lamb shank for seven hours to achieve a succulent, fall-off-the-bone texture. The lamb is then bathed in a rich sauce of red wine and redcurrant. Just perfect served with Bistro Chef Garlic Mash or Bistro Chef Dauphinois Potato.

For Best Results: Oven Cook From Frozen

Oven: Fan 170C / Electric 190C / Gas Mark 5

  1. Pre-heat oven
  2. Remove sleeve and pierce film
  3. Place on a baking tray in the centre of the oven
  4. Cook for 40–45 minutes (from frozen) / 25–30 minutes (from chilled)

Microwave: 850W

  1. Remove sleeve and pierce film
  2. Place on a microwavable plate
  3. Cook 7 minutes, stirring halfway through (from frozen) / 3 minutes 30 seconds, stirring halfway through (from chilled)
