Petit Pois Française is a classic French garden pea casserole featuring peas sautéed with savory pancetta. This dish combines braised lettuce, onion, leek, and carrot, gently cooked with a touch of white wine for subtle acidity, enhancing the freshness of the vegetables and the richness of the pancetta. 

 This dine at home dish embodies traditional French countryside cooking with a refined twist, perfect as a light yet flavourful accompaniment or a standalone lunch or main. Delicious with some crusty bread, our Beef Bourguignon, Coq au Vin  or Dijon Beef Casserole.

Oven: Fan 170C / Electric 190C / Gas Mark 5

  1. Pre-heat oven
  2. Remove sleeve and pierce film
  3. Place on a baking tray in the centre of the oven
  4. Cook for 40–45 minutes (from frozen) / 25–30 minutes (from chilled)

Microwave: 850W

  1. Remove sleeve and pierce film
  2. Place on a microwavable plate
  3. Cook 7 minutes, stirring halfway through (from frozen) / 3 minutes 30 seconds, stirring halfway through (from chilled)
